Pokhara Ultralight starts service

Pokhara Ultralight, a new ultralight flights operator in Pokhara, has started commercial operations.
Within a month of its launch, the company has already operated more than 150 flights. According to the company, passengers from more than 11 countries have already enjoyed its flight.
The company has brought three ultralight aircraft manufactured by Ukrainian company Aeros. These two-seater aircraft have powerful engines with the capacity to fly over 14,000 feet. They can fly for four hours in a row with a speed of up to 120 km per hour, carrying around 200 kg of load.
The company has prepared four packages of 15, 30, 60 and 90 minutes for foreign visitors. Cost ranges between 70 to 285 euros. The company plans to make a special package for Nepalis.
Pom Narayan Shrestha, managing director of the company, said passengers can also record photos and videos of their adventurous flight.
