Padlock at TAAN removed

Normal activities of TAAN has resumed after 35 days.

The agitating All Nepal Revolutionary Tourism Workers Union (ANRTWU) lifted padlock from TAAN Secretariat in Maligaun after TAAN forged an understanding with ANRTWU as well as Union of Nepal Trekking, Travel, Rafting and Airlines Workers (UNITRAV), Nepal Tourism Workers Association and All Nepal Tourism Workers Association on demands placed by the workers’ unions.

With this, the daily activities of TAAN has resumed after 35 days.

The padlock was removed in the presence of police officials, media persons, office-bearers and executive members of TAAN and representatives of workers’ unions among others.

TAAN executive committee is scheduled to hold talks with representatives of four trade unions later on Friday.
