The 50th annual general meeting of Nepal Association of Tour and Travel Agents (NATTA) has elected a new executive committee under the leadership of DB Limbu.
Limbu, who got 221 votes, defeated his rival Madhusudan Acharya by 52 votes. Acharya was the 1st vice-president in the outgoing committee. Similarly, Shambhu Raj Pathak, CN Pandey, Mihika Dhakwa, Narayan Prasad Gurung Koney, Ramesh Thapa and Jiswa Tuladhar have been elected as 1st vice-president, 2nd vice-president, general secretary, treasurer, secretary and joint-secretary, respectively.
Similarly, Chitra Bahadur Gurung, Sabita Bhattarai KC, Binay Basnet, Sudhir Upadhyaya, Kamala Gurung, Yuvaraj Subedi and Fu Doma Sherpa have been elected as members.
The new executive committee will remain in office for two years.
The immediate past president and president of NATTA Gandaki Chapter are also in the executive committee. The 17-member executive committee of NATTA gets complete shape after the newly elected president nominates a member in the executive committee.
