The new came into effect from Monday.
Airlines Operators Association of Nepal (AOAN), the umbrella organization of domestic airlines held on Sunday, decided to lower airfare by a maximum of Rs 385 depending on routes.
On Friday, Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) reduced price of ATF for domestic and international carriers by Rs 10 per liter and US$ 100 per kiloliter, respectively.
Ghanashyam Acharya, spokesperson of NOC, said the airfare has been reduced following reduction in price of ATF by NOC.
With the fresh adjustment, airfare for Simara will cost Rs 2,650, while airfare for Dhangadhi will be available at Rs 10,605. Airfare to Pokhara and Bhairahawa has come down by Rs 165 and Rs 205, respectively, to Rs 4,230 and Rs 5,300.
Similarly, airfares to Biratnagar and Bhadrapur have come down by Rs 235 and Rs 275, respectively, to Rs 6,055 and Rs 7,385, respectively.
According to AOAN, cost of mountain flight has been reduced to Rs 9,385 to Rs 9,010.
