The government has sped up preparations to sign loan and grant agreements with China to procure four aircraft for the state-run Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC).
The government is planning to procure three Harbin Y12 and an MA 60 aircraft from China. Under the procurement package, China is giving one Y12 and an M60 to Nepal under grant. Continue reading

Hotel Yukhang in Banasthali, Himalayan Sherpa Guest House in Tatopani, Alobar 1000 Guest House in Thamel, World Heritage Hotel and Apartment in Maru, Alliance Hotel in Jorpati, Tapoban Guest House in Koteshwar, Dream Nepal Hotel and Apartment in Jyatha, Rama Inn Boutique Home in Lal Durbar Marg and GT Restaurant and Lodge in Panauti were the hotels registered with the division during the period, according to Republica daily.

Two leading carriers – Etihad Airways of the UAE and Malaysian Airlines of Malaysia –doubled their flights to Nepal effective Sunday (October 27).
Both the airlines said they increased flight frequency to Nepal taking into consideration growing demand for air seats. Both the airlines were operating seven flights a week to Nepal. Continue reading

The number of trekkers visiting Langtang Region over the three months ending mid-September increased by 23 percent compared to figures of the same period last year.
According to Langtang National Park, 3,592 trekkers visited the popular trekking area during the period, up from 2,912 recorded in the same period of last year. Continue reading
